Leading Immigration Support Services Provider Expands to National Benefits Center
Ashburn, VA – February 2, 2016 – FCi Federal announced today that it has been awarded a $416-million, five-year prime contract with the Department of Homeland Security’s U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) to support its National Benefits Center Records Operations Center. All processing, operations, and management work commenced on February 1 and will be hosted at the National Benefits Center in Lee’s Summit, Missouri and Overland Park, Kansas.
The contract, which became effective on January 30, authorizes 1,320 full-time positions.
The National Benefits Center’s primary mission is to prepare applications for adjudication that require an interview at a USCIS Field Office. Conducting background and security checks and reviewing the evidence that applicants submit to support their eligibility for the benefit are just part what goes into preparing an application. FCi Federal will also provide services related to correspondence management, data collection, and file operations to ensure that USCIS is prepared to handle increases in application volumes in the future.
